In a given year, the department makes an average of 850 ambulance runs and 150 fire and rescue runs. The department is part of the Homeland Security Team and they are knowledgeable as a Hazard Response Team. The department is also 1 of 20 departments in the state of Oklahoma with a Regional Intermediate Response Unit.
